Spotify should receive your music at least two weeks before launch. That is, they receive it before it is released and is visible to everyone.
Therefore, when you upload your release to the 1M Music app, you must place a “Digital release date” minimum 15 days later the day you send it.
Steps to follow to apply for Spotify:Between 48 and 72 business hours after you submit your release from the 1M Music app, log in to your account. Spotify for Artists, go to the section “Music", then "Upcoming", click "Pitch a song". Only one topic can be applied for at a time.
Select the song you want to apply and complete the form.
In the last section of the form, in the box “Describe your song for us”, it is recommended that you tell about the song and suggest to Spotify editors in which Playlists you think your song could go well.
A tip for this: you can check out artists similar to you in the “Their fans also listen” section of your Spotify profile. Then, look in the "About" section for those artists and click on "Discovered in" to see the playlists they were included on. This way, you can have an idea of which playlists you could be included in.Click on "Submit" to finish.
If you later want to modify something, go back to "Upcoming", click on the 3 dots of the topic, "View submission", click "Edit".
Through this process, you make your song available to Spotify's team of editors for consideration. They may or may not choose it. 1M Music is not involved in this process.
To find out if your song has entered a Playlist or not, you must log in to your Spotify for Artists account on the day of release, click on “Music","Playlist".
