A Spotify URI is a unique identifier that links directly to your artist profile, album, or track. It is an essential tool for resolving distribution issues, configuring third-party profiles, or setting up integrations.
⚠️ Important Note on Devices:
Spotify URIs are not visible on the mobile app. You can only retrieve them using the Spotify Desktop App installed on your computer.
Steps to Retrieve Your Artist URI:
- Open the Spotify Desktop App on your computer.
- Navigate to your artist profile.
- Click on the three dots (...) located below your header image.
- Hover your cursor over the "Share" option.
- While holding down the Alt key (on Windows) or the Option (⌥) key (on Mac), click on "Copy Spotify URI".
Done! The code will be copied to your clipboard and will look like this: spotify:artist:YourUniqueCode.
